Japan's forward Chinari Sasai has hailed her team's strong teamwork as the key factor in their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Nigeria in the second round of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
The Young Nadeshiko secured a place in the quarter-finals after overcoming a physically imposing Nigerian team.

The Falconets came into the clash with a loss to Germany and two victories against the Korean Republic and Venezuela.
Japan on the other hand beat Austria, Ghana, and New Zealand in style to top their group.
Miyu Matsunaga's first-half header gave Japan the lead, followed by a crucial assist from Sasai that set up Maya Hijikata for the second goal in the 63rd minute. While Olushola Shobowale pulled one back for Nigeria in stoppage time, Japan held on to secure the win.

Sasai credits Teamwork for Victory over Nigeria
Sasai attributed the victory to teamwork and noted that they had studied Nigeria's tactics.
"We knew that Nigeria was physically stronger and faster than us, but everyone was able to stay focused and score the first goal, and then the second. I'm very happy because this is a victory we won together as a team," Sasai acknowledged in a post-match interview with FIFA.com
Japan will face Spain in the quarter-finals on Sunday, September 15th.
