'I'm feeling tired' - PSG star Nuno Mendes admits he his feeling fatigued

With their sights set on securing a spot in the Club World Cup round of 16, PSG knows there's only one acceptable outcome against the Seattle Sounders, a victory.

The French Side lost 1-0 in their second group game against Botafogo after defeating Atlético Madrid in the opening game.

This sentiment resonates throughout the Parisian squad, as confirmed by Nuno Mendes in a statement to the press, as reported by Abola.

"Anything can happen, but obviously, we're focused on winning and progressing in the Club World Cup. That's our sole focus right now – winning the game. We'll see about first or second place afterward," stated the Portuguese international, acknowledging some fatigue.

"I'm feeling a bit tired, but I'm managing it. I'm trying to recover well and get plenty of sleep, which is crucial. We've made the necessary adjustments, and I think we're in good shape today. We can rest well and be ready for the game."

Regarding their opponents, the left-back highlighted the Americans' quality, recalling Botafogo's victory over PSG: "The Sounders are a good team with a mix of young and experienced players.

"They're here for a reason, they're clearly talented, and we can't underestimate any team in this competition. We saw what Botafogo did; they played well and won. We have to maintain our focus, respect every opponent, and that's exactly what PSG will do."

PSG and the Seattle Sounders are scheduled to clash at 8 p.m. Lisbon time on Monday. In the other group match, Atletico Madrid and Botafogo will face off in California at the same time.
