Chelsea secured their place in the FA Cup fifth round with a dominant display at the MKM Stadium, as a sensational Pedro Neto hat-trick inspired a 4-0 victory over Hull City.

Chelsea became the first team to punch their ticket into the FA Cup fifth round with a ruthless 4-0 victory over Hull City

Liam Rosenior's Blues enjoyed a dominant start and finally took control of the tie in the 40th minute.

After early pressure, Liam Delap, returning to his former stomping ground, held the ball up excellently before laying it off to Neto, who lashed a venomous strike into the bottom corner.

Chelsea effectively ended the contest early in the second half with a moment of individual brilliance and a slice of fortune. In the 51st minute, Neto scored a rare "olimpico," curling an inswinging corner directly into the net that swerved past everyone and through the legs of Hull keeper Dillon Phillips.

The visitors refused to take their foot off the gas, and the third goal arrived in the 59th minute. Delap was again the architect, embarking on a surging run down the channel and cutting inside to tee up Estevao, who smashed the ball home to cap off a dominant team move.

Neto completed his first career hat-trick in the 71st minute to put the gloss on the performance. Once again, it was the tireless Delap providing the service, allowing the Portuguese international to tuck away a tidy right-footed finish into the bottom corner.
