Erling Haaland has cemented his status as a Champions League record-breaker, becoming the first player ever to score in five consecutive matches for three different clubs.
The Manchester City star achieved this unique milestone with his goal against his former side, Borussia Dortmund, during City's 4-1 victory in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Phil Foden scored twice, either side of Haaland's strike, and Rayan Cherki added the fourth to add gloss to the win for Pep Guardiola's men.
The goal marked his fifth strike in the current Champions League season. The Norwegian powerhouse had previously accomplished this rare five-game scoring streak with Red Bull Salzburg during the 2019/20 season and again with Borussia Dortmund in the 2020/21 campaign
Haaland’s ability to maintain this level of consistent, elite scoring across multiple European powerhouses is unparalleled, surpassing even the long-standing achievements of football greats like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The goal against Dortmund was his 18th goal in 14 matches for City this season, keeping him on course to match his outrageous numbers from his debut campaign in England, where he scored 52 goals in 53 games.
