He explained that the now-retired forward had a hunger for success, and he tried to share that with his teammates, even if it meant berating them. He believes Ibrahimovic shares this trait with six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan.

Jordan has also been accused of being tough by ex-teammates, with some even accusing him of getting physical.

“I saw different kinds of leaders,” Pogba told Al Jazeera, per Complete Sports.

“I saw Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] he was a harsh leader. He wanted you to win, and he said it in a harsh way. Some people liked it, and some didn’t. It could bring you up or down. With Zlatan, you needed to be strong mentally. Michael Jordan-style.”
