The Gunners travel to Bournemouth with a host of fresh injuries plaguing the team

Arsenal could be without four major stars after coach Mikel Arteta revealed that the two Premier League stars have not trained with the club since coming off against Tottenham in the North London Derby.

Arsenal to be without four stars

Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice were taken off in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham last weekend, while Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli missed the match completely, and Arteta has provided an update on their fitness status.

Headed into the weekend’s fixture against Bournemouth, Arteta revealed that neither player had trained since getting injured against Tottenham.

The Gunners are likely to be without all four players when they play Bournemouth as their injury troubles continue.

Arsenal hoping to catch Manchester City

Midfielder Rice is nursing back discomfort, while Martinelli and Trossard have hamstring injuries and Saka is out with a knock.

Arsenal are also without long-term absentees Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey against Bournemouth as they look to renew their winning run after a draw against Tottenham.

They have won four matches in six attempts in the Premier League this season and are four points behind the league-leaders Manchester City.

The Gunners are one of four Premier League teams that have yet to lose in the league this season, alongside Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham.
