Edna Imade bags brace as Real Sociedad play 2-2 draw with Granada

Nigerian striker Edna Imade was the hero as Real Sociedad Femenino secured a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Granada CF at the Ciudad Deportiva.

Imade continued her hot streak after her first goal against Levante since her return back in Spain.

Granada went in front through a penalty converted by Sonya Keefe in the 35th minute to give the home side an early advantage.

Imade put Real Sociedad in front in the 87th minute, this time assisted by Andreia Jacinto igniting hopes of a comeback victory.

The match had one final twist as Granada equalized through Maria Barquero, assisted by Blanci Munoz, in additional time, securing a 2-2 draw with a dramatic finish.

The result helps Real Sociedad earns them a valuable away point as they prepare for the upcoming Basque derby against SD Eibar.
