Arsenal fans are surprisingly set to continue their lengthy Champions League trophy drought while Manchester United are projected for glory soon, according to an AI prediction.

In a stunning revelation, artificial intelligence has unveiled its projections for the next century of UEFA Champions League winners, with Manchester United surprisingly projected to win the 2025 title.

While excitement brews among United supporters, fans of other clubs are left reeling at the AI's bold predictions.

The forecast spans until the year 2103, offering a tantalising glimpse into the future of European football.

However, for Arsenal fans, the outlook appears bleak as their rivals secure a significant share of glory with AI not projecting the Gunners to lay their hands on the European trophy in the next 100 years.

Manchester United are projected to win the 2025 title but that will be their only European crown in the next century with Manchester City, the current holders, predicted to claim five more in 2028, 2029, 2045, 2065 and 2078.

Spanish giants Barcelona, who last won it in 2015, has been tipped to win this season’s crown ahead of Wednesday’s quarter-final first leg meeting with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, plus three more titles in 2043, 2066 and 2081.

English football dominates the landscape, with 40 clubs etching their names on the coveted trophy. Liverpool with three (2027, 2038 and 2083), Chelsea with two (2046 and 2055) same as Newcastle (2027 and 2084), Nottingham Forest (2049, 2064), and Tottenham (2034), Wolves (2042), Leicester City (2058) and Brentford (2087) same as United with one each.

Real Madrid maintains its status as the most successful team in history and are projected to win 10 more trophies during this period being in 2031, 2032, 2053, 2054, 2094, 2095, 2096, 2097, 2098 and 2100.

Scottish football will have some revival with Rangers primed to win the Big Ears trophy in 2068 and 2069 while bitter rivals Celtic are projected to claim it in 2063.

Minnows Sheriff, Malmo, Ferencvaros, Deportivo Alaves, Feyenoord, and Dinamo Zagreb are also projected to win the trophy while Atletico Madrid are primed to win five titles, Juventus two, same as Serie A rivals Inter Milan, with PSG projected to claim four and three for German giants Bayern Munich during that period.

However, the predictions look far fetched given United are not even assured of securing Champions League football for next season while Arsenal appear unbeatable at the moment.

Erk ten Hag’s men are 11 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa in the Premier League while the Gunners head into Tuesday’s quarter-final first leg against Bayern as unlikely favourites.
