In Saturday night's head-to-head three-point shootout, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry narrowly prevailed over Sabrina Ionescu, a sharpshooter for the New York Liberty.

Using a WNBA-sized basketball, Ionescu—the best three-point shooter in the league—shot from behind the NBA arc, which is located around two feet farther from the hoop.

Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA's three-point competition earlier in the evening.

She scored an incredible 26 points, which would have advanced her to the championship game.

But when Curry's turn came, he once again demonstrated why he is among the greatest shooters to have ever lived.

After overcoming a lackluster start, Curry—who now owns the NBA record for the most three-pointers made in a career—rolled through the final two racks to record 29 points, sparking a skipping celebration that enthralled the audience.

The charity that Ionescu and Curry have selected are the true winners at the conclusion of the evening.
