Double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah has a lovely Christmas message for her fans and loved ones as she looks forward to a historic 2024 year.

In a post dropped on her social media platforms, the world's fastest woman was ecstatic about celebrating Christmas and had some motivational words for the New Year.

"...I want to wish you guys a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes. I appreciate you all, thanks for the love and support as we approach 2024.

"Just continue to work to your dreams and aspirations and whatever you're believing, continue to push yourself, keep on smiling, praying, and just do you."

The year 2024 will be a vital season in Thompson-Herah's career, as she'll be gunning to defend her sprint titles at the Olympic Games in Paris, which will see her become the first female sprinter in history to do a three-peat of victories at three consecutive Games.
