Galatasaray have reached a historic milestone in Turkish football, becoming the most valuable squad the country has ever seen.
According to Transfermarkt, the Istanbul giants’ squad valuation has climbed to €337 million, the first time a Super Lig club has crossed the €330 million mark, and Victor Osimhen’s arrival has played a major role in that surge.
Record-breaking squad value sets Galatasaray apart
Galatasaray’s market value has risen by nearly €30 million since the start of the season, thanks to aggressive recruitment in both the summer and winter transfer windows. The jump has created a significant gap between them and their domestic rivals.
Fenerbahce sit second with a squad value of €236.5 million, more than €100 million behind the league leaders. Besiktas rank third at €178.5 million, followed by Trabzonspor (€99.4 million) and Basaksehir (€71.65 million). At the other end of the table, Fatih Karagumruk remain the lowest-valued side at €15.68 million.
Across the Super Lig, total transfer and loan spending hit €475 million this season, with approximately €450 million coming from the traditional “big four.”
Osimhen headline deal fuels spending spree
Galatasaray led all clubs in spending, investing €157 million, ahead of Besiktas (€129 million), Fenerbahce (€124 million), and Trabzonspor (€38 million).
A large portion of that outlay went toward securing Victor Osimhen in a blockbuster €75 million deal, the most expensive transfer in Turkish football this season. The Nigerian striker’s fee accounted for nearly half of the club’s total spending and significantly boosted the squad’s overall valuation.
He was followed by Singo, signed for €30 million, while other notable moves included Fenerbahce’s Guendouzi (€28 million) and Galatasaray goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakır (€27.5 million).
With Osimhen leading the charge, Galatasaray’s ambitious investment has now translated into a record-breaking valuation, a new benchmark in Turkish football history.
