Mini Asafa Powell's: Sprint legend shares cute photo grooming his sons for the future
Jamaican sprint legend Asafa Powell is already grooming his sons to be future track stars after sharing a cute photo of them in training.
Powell, who won several global medals in the 100m, 200m, and the relays, is known as the sub-10s king, having blazed the 9s time the most by a sprinter in history (97).
He is now training his sons (Amieke and Azhaf) to be better sprinters than him after sharing a post on his Instagram page.
"He said 'daddy it’s a false start' boys wanted to race," wrote Powell as his caption.
Summary of Asafa Powell's career
His legendary career spanned over ten decades, had a healthy rivalry with fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt and the USA's duo of Justin Gatlin and Usain Bolt.
During his active years, the 41-year-old set the 100m World Record twice at 9.77s and 9.74s and consistently broke the 10s barrier with his personal best of 9.72s, ranking fourth on the all-time list.
