‘I loved playing under him’ - Rashford snubs, Ten Hag, Mourinho names best manager he played under
Throughout his career at Old Trafford, Rashford has played under five permanent managers, experiencing a range of highs and lows.
He was given his debut by Louis van Gaal and went on to play under Ruben Amorim, Jose Mourinho, Erik ten Hag and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as well as interim managers Michael Carrick, Ralf Rangnick, and Ruud van Nistelrooy
He later found himself out of favour with current boss Amorim, highlighting the fluctuating nature of his journey at the club.
Rashford names Solskjaer as best coach
Rashford enjoyed his most consistent form under Solskjaer, having scored 22 goals in Solskjaer’s first full season and followed it up with 21 the next, a campaign in which United reached the Europa League final.
"Ole is a fantastic person," Rashford told TV 2. "I loved playing under him. I can speak for many of the players at Manchester United when I say that we enjoyed playing for him. We played good football under Ole."
"It was a very successful period for me personally. He is a fantastic person, and I don’t have a bad word to say about him."
Statistically, Rashford's most prolific season came under Erik ten Hag, when he netted an impressive 30 goals across all competitions.
At that point, he seemed poised to become one of the world's elite players, but his form declined over the subsequent two seasons as he failed to reach double figures.
His struggles led to current manager Ruben Amorim questioning his training performance before approving a loan move to Aston Villa last season, followed by his current spell at Barcelona.
