‘I have heard a few things’ - Super Eagles star opens up on transfer speculation

The 23-year-old right-back has been a standout performer for Rovers, and his strong form has reportedly attracted interest from the Premier League club and the German Bundesliga side as the January transfer window nears its end.

With Blackburn currently in a fight to avoid relegation from the Championship, the speculation has raised questions about the defender's future at Ewood Park.

Alebiosu has moved to quash the rumours, emphasising that his priority is returning to full fitness and aiding his team's battle for survival.

"I haven't looked into it much; I am focused on the club I am at," Alebiosu told BBC Radio Lancashire. "I have heard a few things, but my mind isn't on that. I am focused on getting as fit as possible and helping the team."

The former Arsenal youth player doubled down on his commitment, leaving no doubt about where he sees himself after the transfer window closes. "Everything out there is not what I am looking at," he affirmed. "I expect to be here, 100%."

Before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles, Alebiosu contributed one goal and two assists in 20 league appearances for Blackburn.

Now back from international duty and recovering from an injury, the full-back is eager to return to the pitch and play a crucial role in Blackburn's upcoming match against Hull City this Saturday.
