There were about 6,500 supporters present at Rujevica, so it wasn't completely sold out, but the energy was fantastic.
Before Dario Melnjak scored the game's first goal in the 62nd minute, there were no goals in the first half.
Five minutes into extra time, Marko Livaja converted a penalty shot to secure the victory.
It's interesting because, on Sunday, the two clubs play again in the league's championship game.
Ibenik has been dropped from the first league, while Hajduk has already earned second place.

Awaziem featured for 90 minutes as Hajduk Split did not concede a goal in the final.
