'E se gan' - Bukayo Saka thanks Lagos in Yoruba as he departs
England international football star of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Saka, is set to leave Lagos.
On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, the 21-year-old forward touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Saka comes to Lagos on vacation for several reasons following the conclusion of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Saka was a key player for the Gunners as they finished second in the Premier League behind eventual winners Manchester City.
Saka also ended the season with a bumper pay rise on his new contract until 2028 with the Gunners and modeled their new home jersey designed by international sports brand Adidas for the 2023/24 season.
Bukayo Saka says goodbye to Lagos
Born to Nigerian immigrants in the United Kingdom, Saka has always been tipped to wear the green and white of the Super Eagles but chose to represent England the country where he was born.

Saka took to his official Instagram account to state that he is departing Lagos.
The youngster posted a video on his official social media account detailing his time in Lagos.
Along with the video was a message in Yoruba that said, "E se gan 🙏🏿."
That was not the first time Saka would caption his video in Yoruba as when he visited Bariga he did so also.
He also added, "Thank you Lagos! I appreciate all the love you showed me whilst I was here. Until next time…"
During Saka's time in Lagos, he met up with two-term Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He gifted Sanwo-Olu a jersey before going to have a meeting with Arsenal fans in Lagos.
Saka also went on to visit his grandparents in Kwara State, and he is now expected to return to Europe to continue his vacation.
