Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham opens up on his parents' separation

Bellingham joined Madrid from Dortmund for a fee worth €103m (£88.5m) and has since then been one of their best players.

The midfielder led the club to the La Liga title and also won the UEFA Champions League following an impressive season.

However, this season he has been hit with an injury that has kept him out of the team and also missed England’s World Cup qualifiers.

Speculation about the split between his father, Mark, 49, and mother, Denise, 57, arose after they were seen sitting apart during a match featuring Bellingham's younger brother, Jobe. 

The news has raised concerns about the potential impact on both footballers, as their parents have been instrumental in managing their careers.

Bellingham, who is currently sidelined after undergoing shoulder surgery, took to social media, as reported by the Sun, to share a series of photos from his time off during the international break. 

The post, shared on social media and captioned "That's life", depicted the midfielder enjoying various activities.

The collection of images included snapshots of Bellingham on safari, feeding elephants, dining out against scenic backdrops, and relaxing in a cold plunge pool as part of his recovery. 

Other photos showed him posing for a selfie in sunglasses and a cap and shuffling a deck of cards.

The post suggests the England international is in good spirits as he recuperates, despite the recent personal news and his current absence from the pitch for Real Madrid.
