Turkish football analyst Ali Ece has advised Galatasaray against signing Victor Osimhen, arguing that it did not make financial sense.

Napoli and Juventus to compete for Man United star amid Osimhen links
Manchester United could have customers from Italy this summer for one of their struggling stars.
He has a €75 million release clause and his parent club, Napoli, are sticking to their guns on the amount. The Cim-Bom have tried negotiating for a reduced fee, but the Partenopei have refused to budge.
Galatasaray are seeking funds, as they are keen on signing the Nigerian permanently, but Ali believes they are better served repurposing that money.

What he said
"Galatasaray shouldn't make many transfers. You gave 8 million Euros to Cuesta, what happened? If Icardi stays, you don't need to buy someone like Osimhen anyway,” he said, per GsGazette.
“If you're going to play Icardi and Morata, you're going to play them in 3-5-2 because you tried 4-4-2 with Batshuayi and it didn't work. If you're going to play them in 3-4-1-2, you're going to get a number 10 like Mertens.
“If you make 5 out of 5 good transfers, you'll be successful in Europe. If 1 out of 5 transfers is good, then don't make any transfers; you'll still fail in Europe."

"Some people are trading Galatasaray fans through Osimhen. Some people say 'I will give the money for Osimhen,' and then I call out to President Dursun Özbek. Open an Osimhen fund and keep that money to transfer the player.
“According to my calculations, you convert 70 million Euros into Turkish Lira and put it in a money market fund, it makes 280 million TL. Those who want to give Osimhen should give it, as long as they have the money in their cash flow.
“If Osimhen is not available, you can buy two center forwards. You can make up for your deficiency that way or you can look for a few stars from Saudi Arabia. I think every Galatasaray fan will support this."
