‘You can see the magic he does’ - Iwobi praises Chukwueze, claims he can rediscover his form
The winger had a standout performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, helping his team secure a win.
He made the starting lineup for the game after his previous performance against Sunderland and helped his team secure a 2-1 win over Spurs.
The winger provided the assist for Kenny Tete's opening goal just four minutes into the match.
Iwobi speaks about Chukwueze
Speaking after the match, Iwobi highlighted the strong team spirit at Fulham, which has contributed to their recent run of form.
"We have a nice brotherhood in the team. Everyone motivates each other, and everyone fights for each other. The chemistry is good right now," the player stated.
Iwobi, who has been a key figure in the Fulham midfield, was particularly impressed by his compatriot's contribution.
He revealed the winger's nickname and shared his thoughts on what Chukwueze needs to do to reach the next level.
"He is energetic on and off the pitch. We are happy to have him," Iwobi said of Chukwueze. You can see the magic he does on the field. He is a great addition to the club. We want to give him the confidence."
"'Chukwu-magic' – that’s his nickname on the training field," Iwobi continued. "He is able to do it in training and in matches. He just needs to stay consistent."
The victory over Tottenham marked Fulham's first away win against them since 2013 and helped the Cottagers climb the Premier League table.
The team will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for their next fixture against Manchester City.
