Wilfred Ndidi is still of good value in the transfer market and reports claim the Nigerian international has been linked with several Premier league clubs.

Leicester City may have been relegated to play in the Championships next season but the club will lose a couple of players in their ranks.

The Foxes who won the Premier League in 2015 could not avoid the drop on the last day despite beating West Ham in their final game at the King Power Stadium.

Southampton and Leeds United were the other two teams that joined Leicester in the second division.

Here are most expensive players relegated from the Premier League in the 2022-23 season according to TransferMarkt

1. Youri Tielemens and Brenden Aaronson (£26m)

Tielemens and the Leeds United striker are valued at £26m and a number of clubs are showing interest in signing the duo.

The Belgian midfielder has been linked to Premier League runner-up Arsenal in the last few years but Serie A side AC Milan are also weighing their options for the 26-year-old.

On the other hand, Aaronson has a release clause in his contract with Leeds if they get relegated as it is certain the AMerican will leave the club.

2. Harvey Barnes and Wilfred Ndidi (£28m)

The Leicester academy graduate Harvey Barnes has been valued at £28m in the current transfer window and a couple of English clubs are interested in the England international.

Champions League Newcastle competitors, Europa Conference League winners West Ham and Europa League participants Aston Villa are all in the race for Barnes.

Wilfred Ndidi has also been linked to undisclosed Premier League clubs as the Nigerian midfielder is also £26m-rated.

3. Jame Ward-Prowse (£32m)

The Englishman is probably the best free-kick taker in the world right now due to his conversion rate from set-pieces.

The Southampton captain who also plays for Three Lions is valued at £32m and is expected to leave St, Mary’s to a yet-to-be mentioned destination.

4. James Maddison (£42m)

Maddison has been long overdue with Leicester as the England midfielder is favoured for a move to North London to join Tottenham.

The attacking midfielder is also being chased by another London based outfit Arsenal to help bolster their squad next season.
