Former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has revealed the best coach to replace outgoing Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Kuyt has thrown his support behind two former teammates, Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard, as potential successors to Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Klopp's impending departure from Liverpool at the end of the season has prompted the club to begin their search for a new manager.

For me, it would be amazing if one of my former teammates like Xabi or maybe Steven [Gerrard] in the future will become a manager of Liverpool FC. That would be amazing and I think both will do well," Kuyt said.

"Steven Gerrard should replace Jurgen Klopp. He was the manager at Rangers and Aston Villa so why can’t he manage Liverpool?"
Alonso has helped Bayer Leverkusen to a 10-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga while Steven Gerrard has Al Ettifaq in 6th place in the Saudi Pro League.
