Oshoala bags 3rd league goal of the season for Barcelona against Alaves.

Super Falcons of Nigeria striker Asisat Oshoala was on target as Barcelona Femeni recorded an 8-0 victory against Alaves in a Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino fixture played on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

Oshoala was handed a start by Head Coach Jonatan Giráldez and would find the back of the net in a rout.

Barcelona went in front as early as the eighth minute when Clàudia Pina converted a ball by Irene Paredes.

in the 12th minute, Oshoala scored Barcelona's second assisted by Fridolina Rolfö.

Pina provided the third for Rolfö in the 25th minute and scored the fourth from the penalty spot in the 36th minute.

María León added a fifth in the 43rd minute assisted by Nuria Rábano as Barcelona Femeni went to the halftime break with a five-goal lead.

Pina had a hattrick of assists in the 56th minute as Salma Paralluelo grabbed the sixth. 

Marta Torrejón converted a ball by Ana-Maria Crnogorčević in the 85th minute for the seventh.

Geyse Ferreira added the eight assisted by Bruna Vilamala as Barcelona recorded the biggest victory of the ongoing season.

Oshoala featured for 90 minutes and the strike moves her up the scoring chart. The five-time Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Women's Player of the Year now has three goals in eight league games  this season 

Barcelona now establishes a seven-point lead ahead of Rasheedat Ajibade's Atletico Madrid side in second place.

Oshoala last season's league joint top scorer will aim to find the net in back-to-back games for the first time this season when Barcelona travels to face Bayern Munich in their next Women's Champions League group stage fixture scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
