The 25-year-old remains doubtful for the clash with Leece, which would be Napoli's last game of the season, and potentially his last opportunity to appear in front of fans at the Diego Maradona Stadium.
Osimhen could miss Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against South Africa and Benin Republic.
The Super Eagles will take on Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday, June 7.
