The ex-Senegal international has agreed on a two-year deal at the Ravens.
Senegalese coach Lamine Ndiaye has arrived in Lubumbashi to start what would be an interesting project with TP Mazembe.
Ndiaye jetted into DR Congo on Friday, 7 April, accompanied by his assistant Alexandre Jurain and is set to take charge of the struggling African giants.
The former Horoya AC coach takes over Pamphile Mihayo, who is set to be deployed to the team’s lower structures as they seek to regain their continental glory next season.
Ndiaye returns to Mazembe for a second spell, having previously been in charge of the club in 2010, where he won that season’s CAF Champions League.
"Ndiaye has strong leadership and great tactical knowledge of football. His mission will be to rebuild, that is to put in place the club's project aimed at being competitive at the highest level of continental football while gradually integrating young talents," the club said in a statement.
