Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, has informed the national team that he will not be joining the Ghana squad for the upcoming international break.

The Ghanian star will Instead continue training at the Sobha Realty Centre as the Gunners prepare for the last 10 games of the season.

Partey has been on the injury table since last year and has faced many setbacks on his journey to recovery.

The midfielder is looking to regain full fitness and help his team challenge for the Premier League and Champions League trophy.
