Nigeria Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi left the sinking ship Everton for an adventure at Fulham with his former manager at Goodison Park.

Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi has provided some explanation on why he left swapped Everton for Fulham in the summer window.

Iwobi completed a deadline day transfer from Goodison Park to join compatriot Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage in a surprise switch.

The transfer cost Fulham in excess of 22 million pounds to prise the talented Nigerian playmaker away from the Toffees.
