Msimbazi comprehensively lost 3-0 to Raja Casablanca on matchday two at home, adding to an earlier 1-0 loss to Horoya on matchday one away in Guinea.

'The pressure is getting worse' is a catchy social medai phrase used to describe a difficult situation, one Simba SC finds themselves in.

The Tanzanian giants are not only six points adrift of arch-nemesis Young Africans but are also winless in their CAF Champions League group stage after two matchdays.

Msimbazi comprehensively lost 3-0 to Raja Casablanca on matchday two at home, adding to an earlier 1-0 loss to Horoya on matchday one away in Guinea.

Speaking to the media ahead of Simba's league game against Azam FC on Tuesday, the club's communications manager Ahmed Ally revealed that the plan was back-to-back victories against Vipers SC.

"I understand what Simba fans are feeling after the Raja loss, but that is all in the past, and that is football. We should stand tall and keep on moving forward," he noted before adding.

"We are going to pick three points there (against Vipers in Kampala). It is a tough game because they (Vipers) got a point off Horoya, so they are confident, but we shall get a win and come back to complete the job at the dome (Benjamin Mkapa)."

Ahmed also highlighted that the motivation to win their next games comes from the wins they picked up around the continent.

"It is possible; we won in Angola, Malawi, and Congo, so we are heading to Uganda the same way we won in other countries to get maximum points."

Vipers will host Simba first on February 25, before the away game set for March 7, at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium.

Raja tops Group C with six points followed by Horoya with four points, while Vipers (one point) and Simba (no point) follow respectively.
