Another Premier League club has registered interest in Samuel Chukwueze and are prepared to rival Fulham for his signature.

West Ham have reportedly entered the race for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze and are prepared to battle Fulham for his signature in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Fulham this season after flopping at AC Milan. He has thrived at Craven’s cottage, with the West London side keen on landing him on a permanent deal in the summer. However, the Hammers are prepared to rival them for his signature.

West Ham’s interest

West Ham have had a long-standing interest in the Nigerian winger and even looked into signing him before he joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2023.

According to Fichajes, that interest has been rekindled, with the West Ham hierarchy working to equip Nuno Espírito Santo with pacy wingers for his counterattacking style. They have already brought in names like Pablo, Taty Castellanos, and Adama Traore and are hoping to add Chukwueze to that arsenal.

Per the report, West Ham have made an enquiry and are prepared to pay the required £21.7 million to £26 million to secure his signature. However, they will only be able to make the move if they avoid getting relegated this season, as they are currently 18th on the Premier League standings.

AC Milan confident in Chukwueze sale

As Pulse Sports reported, AC Milan are increasingly confident that Fulham will trigger the permanent buy option for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze following an ongoing successful loan spell in the Premier League.

The former Villarreal man has recorded three goals and four assists across all competitions so far, despite his progress being briefly halted by AFCON 2025.

Since returning from the tournament, the winger has quickly fought his way back into the starting lineup. He featured prominently in recent games against Manchester United and Everton, proving to be a key part of Marco Silva's attacking plans.
