The ex-Super Eagles playmaker went on to explain his decision to go with Messi, in an interview with Capital FM.
“I think both of them rightly deserve to be GOATs but I prefer Lionel Messi.
"As for me…I mean…Cristiano Ronaldo is typical of what you can achieve with hard work, but for Messi, everything comes naturally…and he works hard as well.”
Messi has lit up the MLS since arriving in July, scoring 11 goals in 10 appearances and leading Inter Miami to their first trophy.
