Kyle Walker was left out of the starting 11 by Pep Guardiola and Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has said that Kyle Walker will be fuming about the decision.

Pep Guardiola makes the lone change from the group that defeated Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley a week ago by benching Walker.

The English International has been a frequent starter for City during the final round of games of the season.

Ferdinand has now said that the right-back will not be happy about being snubbed by Guardiola for the final of the Champions League.

Ferdinand says Walker’s blood will be boiling

Pep Guardiola released his first 11 players to start against Inter Milan and Kyle Walker was not on the list.

Speaking to BT Sports, which was reported by Daily Mail Ferdinand said, “He will be absolutely fuming... inside, I can imagine, the blood will be boiling. He's been integral to them getting here.”

Ferdinand has said that Walker's performance in the semi-final against Real Madrid has helped City to the final.

Ferdinand continued, “That game against Real Madrid he was outstanding, both legs. He'll be disappointed. But it's a squad game, and you have to accept it.”

It's a tough one says former Arsenal player Fabregas

Former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas has said that the decision will be a tough one to take in for Kyle Walker.

Still speaking to BT Sports, Cesc Fabregas said, “Kyle Walker has been playing very well lately. He dealt with Vinicius Jr very well. He's one of the most powerful defenders you can find in football right now.”

Guardiola may be picking a defender who will remain back rather than get forward, Fabregas insisted.

Guardiola decided to pick Nathan Ake ahead of Kyle Walker for the Champions League final as City looks to win their third trophy of the season, making it a treble.
