Los Blancos new superstar signing has been told to cancel plans to ship his prized possession over to Madrid.
Real Madrid has informed new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold that his ₦273 million (£130,000) Range Rover cannot be brought to the training ground.
According to the Daily Mail, this decision stems from the club's exclusive partnership with BMW, which provides players with luxury electric vehicles for their personal use.
As part of this agreement, players are expected to drive BMW vehicles to and from training sessions and matches, with strict adherence to the club's guidelines, as per El Motor.
The sponsorship deal, established in 2022, marked the end of Real Madrid's 19-year relationship with Audi.
Under the new arrangement, players have access to a range of fully electric BMW models, including the iX, i4, iX3, i7, and iX1.
Alexander-Arnold's transition to Madrid
Trent Alexander-Arnold's move from Liverpool to Real Madrid has been met with excitement and anticipation.
The 26-year-old right-back has agreed to a six-year deal with the Spanish giants, with the transfer officially commencing on Sunday when the transfer window opened.
The deal reportedly includes a release clause set at €1 billion (£840 million), underscoring the club's long-term investment in the player.
While Alexander-Arnold will have to part with his beloved Range Rover, he will be provided with a BMW of his choice.
Players like Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham have opted for the BMW XM, a model valued at approximately ₦319 million (£152,000).
These vehicles are provided to players free of charge as part of the sponsorship agreement.
