The Super Falcons are the most successful team on the African continent.

Since the competition's start in 1991, the Super Falcons have won 11 Africa Cup of Nations matches.

They have qualified for every World Cup, but they have yet to extend that dominance to the international stage.

The 1999 tournament saw Nigeria's best performance, when they advanced to the quarterfinals. The goal for Randy Waldrum's team this summer in Australia and New Zealand is to write history.
