After being rejected by Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen, Al Hilal are reportedly considering talks with another African striker

Victor Osimhen has turned down a jaw-dropping offer from Al Hilal, leaving the Saudi giants empty-handed and in urgent need of a new star striker.

Their attention has now shifted to Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri, who just might be the next big-money name to join the Pro League.

Al Hilal scramble for En-Nesyri after €45m Osimhen rejection

Al Hilal aren’t wasting time licking their wounds after Victor Osimhen said no deal to a €45 million-per-year offer.

Victor Osimhen ends the season with 37 goals in 41 matches.

The Saudi Pro League powerhouse has now placed Youssef En-Nesyri at the top of their shopping list and is preparing a €40 million bid to Fenerbahce. The Moroccan striker, fresh off a 30-goal season, is reportedly eager to leave amid fan criticism and has already informed his club of his intent.

With Simone Inzaghi now leading the Al Hilal dugout, the club is aiming to avoid another failed pursuit after missing out on both Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

En-Nesyri could be the ideal rebound as he is affordable, experienced, and hungry for a new challenge. Sevilla, his former club, will pocket 10% of any transfer fee, but that is unlikely to slow negotiations.

Fenerbahce prepare exit door and lineup replacements

While Al Hilal circle En-Nesyri like vultures, Fenerbahce are already plotting their next moves to replace the Moroccan goalscorer.

The Turkish giants know they’re likely to lose their top scorer and are lining up Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic as a possible replacement. Mitrovic, who left Fulham for Al Hilal last year, is reportedly open to returning to Europe, and Fenerbahce see him as an ideal fit.

But the club isn’t stopping at the front line, they have also approached Marseille midfielder Azzedine Ounahi and remain in talks with PSG over Milan Skriniar.

Defensively, big changes are brewing too, with Becao, Djiku, Yusuf Akcicek, and Carlos Vinicius all placed on the transfer list.
