The Harambee Stars captain has expressed disappointment but remains resilient in the face of defeat.

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has expressed his disappointment following the team's unexpected 1-0 loss to Mauritius in the final match of the Four-Nations tournament held on Sunday. 

Despite the setback, Olunga remains determined to regroup and lead the team to come back stronger in future competitions.

In a heartfelt message shared across his social media platforms, Olunga expressed his feelings about the outcome of the match.

"Gutted with the result last evening but will regroup and bounce back stronger," Olunga wrote, clearly disappointed by the unexpected turn of events.

The loss was a bitter pill to swallow for the captain and the entire Harambee Stars squad, who had high hopes of ending the tournament on a victorious note.

The match between Harambee Stars and Mauritius was staged at the Cote D'Or Complex just on the outskirts of the capital Port Louis and was witnessed by enthusiastic fans from the host nation.

Kenya thrashed Mauritius 5-2 away in the first leg, while the second leg ended in a barren draw at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.
