The former Super Eagles striker was in high spirits as he joined friends to celebrate the birthday of one of Nigeria’s finest music icons

Famous Nigerian singer K1 De Ultimate was a beneficiary of the goodwill and the large pocket of ex-Super Eagles forward, Obafemi Martin.

The event was organised to celebrate KS1 Malaika's 50th birthday, and the former Inter Milan striker was in attendance to celebrate with the Fuji star.

Obagoal money too much

K1 sang the praises of Obafemi Martins, who is also referred to as Obagoal because of his shooting exploits during his playing days.

As the music wore on, Obagoal, where he was seated handed out some bundle of cash which was subsequently passed on to the celebrant.

The cash gift was reported to be to the tune of two million Naira.

Arsenal Nemesis

The Nigerian striker is one player the Gunners would not forget in a hurry because of how he haunted them in the past, when it mattered most.

The former Birmingham City striker scored the only goal at Wembley in a Carling cup final in 2011 when his side defeated Arsenal to lift the trophy.

He was hailed by attendees after he extended the kind gesture to Kwam 1, and they continued to shower him with encomium.

Meanwhile, the former Nigerian international unlocked another career achievement in his life.

Obafemi graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets from HarvardX after earning a weighted grade summary of 98%.

The 38-year-old shared the news on social media with a video of where he was studying and celebrating with friends.
