Neymar has revealed he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain despite fans demanding him to depart last season.

Supporters gathered outside Neymar's home in May to demand that he leave, but he intends to stay with the team for the upcoming season, despite their demands.

The Brazilian superstar, who cost £190 million to join the French team from Barcelona in 2017, is still the most expensive player in history.

However, his future at the club is still in question as they once again fell short of winning the Champions League

The PSG forward has now made a decision about his future and has decided to stay put with the French giants.

The 31-year-old was asked about his future in an interview and he made it clear that he wants to remain with PSG.

Neymar stated in an interview with CazeTV as reported by Daily Mail, “I hope to play this season at PSG, I have a contract with Paris. So far, no one has told me anything.

“I am calm, even if there is not much love between the supporters and the player. I will be there with or without love.”

Neymar’s performance last season was struck by an ankle injury which also affected him during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Brazilian underwent surgery but has recently returned to training and is hoping to play again after overcoming a "tough" procedure.

During the interview, Neymar said as reported by Daily Mail, “The process was very painful and it is very difficult, but I am trying to come back well.

“Obviously, winning is always part of the objectives, but I want to play well again, that's the first thing.”

This week, Mail Sport reported that if Neymar decides to leave the Ligue 1 giants, Chelsea would be interested in signing him.

However, it looks more like he will be staying at Paris Saint Germain for next season and won’t be leaving this summer.
