Facundo Farias, an Argentine who recently joined the club has spoken about the sacrifices that were made to afford him the opportunity.
Farias spoke to The Athletic about how his partner had to give up her education so they could both move to Florida to join Inter Miami.
“She was studying her major but we had to move here,” the 21-year old said.
“She wanted to kill me! But I told her, ‘We’re going to play with Messi!’”
Farias scored his first goal for Inter Miami in a 3-1 win against Los Angeles FC and has gone on to score 3 goals in 12 games for the club.
