Vincent Harper was the only Kenyan to emerge victorious.

Former Gor Mahia players Kenneth Muguna and Joash Onyango missed Simba’s 1-1 draw against Azam while Wilkims Ochieng and Vincent Harper featured for FC Koper and Eastleigh respectively.

Wilkims Ochieng

The Kenyan midfielder was entrusted with a start as his FC Koper extended their winless run to four games after suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Radomlje in the Slovenian top tier.

Koper were handed an uphill battle after Omar Correia was sent for an early shower in the 26th minute for a second bookable offense following his first yellow card in the sixth minute.

This forced head coach Zoran Željkovič to withdraw Wilkims in a bid to salvage something from the game as Nikola Krajinovic was introduced.

With the man advantage, Radomlje opened the scoring three minutes before the halftime break courtesy of Ester Sokler who netted his third goal of the season.

Koper however had a bright start to the second half and restored parity in the 51st minute through Andrej Kotnik after Luka Ticic put the ball on a plate for him.

Ester Sokler however netted four minutes later to restore Radomlje’s lead as they went on to collect three massive points in the clash.

Joash & Muguna

The two Kenyan internationals missed the matchday squads as Simba settled for a 1-1 draw against Azam in the Tanzanian Premier League.

Onyango looks to have been rested after a grueling CAF Champions League clash against Raja Casablanca on Saturday in which he gave away a penalty.

Muguna on the other hand has missed a number of games this year due to an injury and was again sat out of the Azam FC matchday squad.

With the referee’s whistle still sounding at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, Prince Dube wasted no time getting to the scoresheet as he opened the scoring in the second minute.

Azam were seemingly headed for victory but Denis Kibu had other ideas after snatching a point for Simba in the 90th minute as both teams settled for a draw.

Vincent Harper

The Kenyan left-back completed 90 minutes as his Eastleigh side claimed a 3-1 win over Maidstone in the English National League.

Joshua McKiernan handed Eastleigh the deserved lead heading into the break after netting with virtually the last kick of the first half.

Maidstone resumed the second half a much-rejuvenated side Jack Barham leveled proceedings at the stroke of the hour mark but Danny Whitehall restored Eastleigh’s lead as Jake Scrimshaw added the insurance goal.
