The youngster has months remaining in his contract and will thus be available to make a move in the winter window.

Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Zion Suzuki in a month's time, according to reports.

The 20-year-old J League sensation is expected to complete a move to the Premier League, as he has been on the radar for United for a while now.

After leading United to the Carabao Cup trophy and a third-place finish in the Premier League, Erik ten Hag is now building a solid side that can challenge for titles next season. Already, Mason Mount and Andre Onana have been signed, with Suzuki expected to be the next arrival.

Although Onana is expected to occupy the number one slot in the goalkeeping department, Ten Hag needs to sign more because Dean Henderson is likely to leave, with Tom Heaton only a backup option.

Suzuki's contract with Urawa Reds runs out in the winter of next year, and with just over six months remaining in the contract,  Japan's top-flight outfit will be ready to cash in on the youngster if their valuation is met.

According to reports, a £5 million fee will convince the Urawa Reds to let the goalkeeper leave once his contract ends. United, at this point, are not pushing hard to sign the goalkeeper but will wait until next month to start the pursuit of the promising goalkeeper.
