Man United youngster Amad celebrates Mason Greenwood's return to football with Getafe

Ivory Coast wonderkid Amad Diallo was one of millions who watched Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood return to competitive football with Getafe.

Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo has celebrated the return of his clubmate Mason Greenwood to football with Getafe in the LALIGA.

Amad reacted as Greenwood made his debut for Getafe in a five-goal thriller against Osasuna at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday. 

The Blues overcame a scare to defeat their visitors 3-2, with Greenwood playing an important role in the build-up to the winner.

In what was a match watched by millions of Manchester United fans, the 21-year-old started the game on the bench.

With the youngster watching from the bench, Getafe scored twice but Osasuna hit back with two goals of theirs in what was an intense first hour of the game. 

However, Greenwood finally got his chance when he was subbed on with 13 minutes left to play. 

He went on to play a key role as he won the corner that led to Nemanja Maksimovic’s thunderous winner in the 86th minute.

With several United fans following the game, Greenwood’s teammate, Amad, was one of those who tuned in.

The 21-year-old took to his Instagram account to react, with the talented Ivorian sharing love emojis as Greenwood made his way into the game. 

Greenwood’s appearance against Osasuna was his first game in two years.

He finished with 100% of his passes completed and one shot attempted in 13 minutes of action.
