Brian Ssenyondo has started a massive restructuring at Kitara FC by offloading 16 players.
Newly-promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League club Kitara FC has parted ways with sixteen players as they start preparations for the new season.
The Hoima-based club recently acquired the signature of coach Brian Ssenyondo from UPDF.
The coach seems to be up and running at the club with the recent announcement that the sixteen will not form part of his squad.

Zaga joins just weeks after being offloaded from Vipers, where he had spent four seasons in the top flight in two different spells.
Among those that are leaving the club include Godfrey Lwesibawa, who had joined from Gaddafi but wasn’t part of the final run-in after being suspended for matters related to Match-fixing.
“Kitara Football Club hereby announces the release of the following players whose contracts have expired,” the club’s vice president in charge of communications, Francis Mugerwa, announced in a press release.
Other notable faces leaving the club include John Kisaakye, Farouk Katongole and midfielder Moses Sseruyidde who were key in their promotion journey.
“The released players will receive a token of appreciation for their contribution towards our 2022/2023 season in which we emerged Champions of the FUFA Big League,” the club promised.

Onono Rogers Lukwiya, Kayondo Ronald, John Wesley Kisakye, Adibo Samuel, Sekamwa Sula, Mwesigwa John Stuart, Mugume Patrick, Kizito Zakayo, Kayondo Henry, Ssali Davis, Katerega Abasi, Sseruyidde Moses, Katongole Farouk, Lwesibawa Godfrey, Kagiri Michael and Kyomuhendo Charles.
