Nyakooj previously featured for Masavu FC and Vipers before moving to URA.
Kitara Football Club has recruited experienced centre-back Benjamin Nyakoojo from Uganda Revenue Authority.
Nyakoojo has joined the newly-promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League side on a season’s contract.
The defender recently parted ways with the Tax Collectors after serving for five seasons since August 2018.
“We are excited to announce the arrival of experienced and tested centre-back Benjamin Nyakoojo from URA football club,” the club tweeted.
“The towering defender inked a yearlong deal after ending his tenure with the tax collectors,” they added.
The 26-year-old previously featured for Masavu FC and Vipers before moving to URA.
Nyakoojo is likely to partner with former Uganda Cubs and Hippos defender Samson Kasoozi who was unveiled three days ago.
