Messi and Suarez both netted braces as Inter Miami thrashed Orlando, with Harambee Stars defender Nabi Kibunguchi and Kenyan-born defender Abdi Salim watching from the sidelines.

Harambee Stars defender Nabi Kibunguchy and Kenyan-born Somalia international Abdi Salim watched helplessly from the sidelines as Inter Miami tore apart Orlando City 5-0 in an MLS Clash that took place on Sunday morning.

Kibunguchy has yet to feature in the MLS this season, while Salimhas made one appearance against Cavalry, featuring for 26 minutes during their CONCACAF Champions League win last week.

Both Barcelona legends Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi each scored braces,  while Robert Taylor scored the other goal, leading Inter Miami to a convincing victory and put them top of the league.

Suarez, who had initially struggled to find the back of the net in his first two MLS games, made a strong impact by scoring two goals within the opening 11 minutes. Both goals were set up by Julian Gressel.

Not only did Suarez contribute with goals, but he also provided an assist, setting up Rob Taylor for a goal.

Messi also showcased his scoring prowess by netting twice – once from close range and then with a header from a Suarez cross.

The team boasts a lineup that includes other former Barcelona players such as, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and even Taylor himself.

This victory seems to be a significant moment for Suarez, who joined Inter Miami in December after stints with Nacional in Uruguay and Gremio in Brazil.

The presence of former Barcelona teammates adds a familiar and experienced touch to the team, and they will likely aim to maintain their strong form in the upcoming MLS fixtures.
