Remo Stars head to Bendel Insurance's Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium as the only team in the NPFL, yet to concede a goal this season.

Bendel Insurance centre-back Sunday Anyanwu has boasted that his side will demolish Remo Stars when they meet in a top-of-the-table clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams currently lead Group A of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), although Remo Stars sit at the top of the table and are ahead of Bendel Insurance only on goal difference.

Saturday's meeting in Benin City will be the third time that the Benin Arsenals and the Sky Blues Stars will ever take on themselves in NPFL.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Anyanwu who featured in all of Insurance's three victories so far this season, added that making it four wins in a row was 'non-negotiable.'

"The last game between Kwara United and Bendel Insurance was a tough game," the defender said. "It wasn't an easy game for us. We'd fight [against Remo Stars], and fight and we'd bring out everything we have. We'd make sure we demolish Remo Stars here in Benin City.

"I'm calling everyone to come out, to come and support their home team to victory. Bendel is going to win this game, no doubt. 2-0. It's not negotiable.

"By the grace of God, we're going to come out victorious too," he added.

A 1-1 tie in Sagamu and a goalless draw in Benin City four months after in the 2019 NPFL season, mean that neither teams are yet to find a way past the other in a top-flight fixture.
