Gabriel Martinelli has expressed his love for UEFA Champions League football as he stands on the verge of a club record ahead of Arsenal's trip to face Club Brugge in Belgium.
The Brazilian forward has been in scintillating form in Europe, finding the net in his last five Champions League appearances this season.
The Arsenal star recently scored in the Gunners' 3-0 thrashing of Club Brugge on Wednesday night in the UCL.
This season, he has scored more goals in the Champions League than he has scored in the Premier League.

Martinelli speaks on difference between EPL and UCL
Martinelli became the first Arsenal player ever to score in five consecutive UCL matches following his goal against Club Brugge.
When asked before the game about his impressive run in the competition, he highlighted the tactical differences between it and domestic league play.
"I think in the Champions League, sometimes it's a bit more open," Martinelli explained. "Everyone just wants to attack and have loads of space sometimes.
“In the Premier League, it's a bit more tricky to score and to have more space. I'm really happy with the goals I've scored, helping the team and I hope to keep playing."
Martinelli has now surpassed his teammate Gabriel Jesus, who also scored in four straight Champions League games during the 2023/24 season.
Jesus has been gradually returning to full fitness after sustaining a knee injury against Manchester United in the FA Cup back in January.
The forward came in as a substitute in Arsenal’s win over the Belgian side and almost got on the scoresheet on his return.
