Cole Palmer has caught the eye of Chelsea after several remarkable performances and is hoping that he can continue to repay the faith the Blues showed in getting him out of his Manchester City stagnation

Chelsea star Cole Palmer is reveling in his exceptional start at Stamford Bridge and believes there is much more to come as he adapts to life with the Blues after leaving Manchester City in the summer.

Palmer on fire for Chelsea

The 21-year-old showcased his prowess by notching a brace and providing an assist for Noni Madueke in Chelsea's thrilling 3-2 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road taking his tally to eight goals and four assists in the Premier League since joining Chelsea this summer.

Palmer's second goal against Luton displayed remarkable composure and control, highlighting his growing confidence on the pitch.

The English midfielder was awed by his own calm and precision, telling TNT Sports after the game, “Just when I took it round the ‘keeper, I thought the other guy was going to come across, and I just waited a second and finished.”

Palmer looking forward to more success

Remaining humble, Palmer expressed his desire to continue evolving and contributing to Chelsea's success: "Hopefully, it is just the start. I have adapted to a new life, new teammates, and the city. Hopefully, I can show more on the pitch as well."

Teammate Noni Madueke lauded Palmer's stellar performance, playfully referring to him as 'Cold Palmer'. The duo has developed a close understanding on the pitch, with Madueke acknowledging Palmer's awareness of his playing style.

"Cole gave it to me; he knows my game, and it was a double-team most of the time I had the ball. I just thought I’d shift it onto my left and hit it, and luckily it went in the top corner," Madueke remarked.

Chelsea ended the year in a much better place than they had started it, after recording two wins in a row and three in the last five matches, giving them hope that 2024 will yield better results as the team finds its feet.
