The stakes are high as Heartland FC host ambitious Shooting Stars in a week 31 clash in the NPFL.

Shooting Stars are looking to compound Heartland’s woes in the NPFL when they clash at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

The ambitious team from Ibadan, also known as 3SC, are looking to cement their continental spot and could go as high as second with a win against the Naze Millionaires.

Shooting Stars look steal points at Heartland

After the impressive win against fellow title contenders Lobi Stars the last time, the Oluyole Warriors are in a buoyant mood as they go for a kill against their doomed host Heartland.

It’s been a terrible return to the Football League for Heartland who are deep-rooted in relegation battle after just five wins in 30 matches.

Heartland suffered a narrow defeat to champions Enyimba in their last game in Aba and are looking to bounce back as quickly as possible.

The Naze boys will be buoyed by a return to their home in Owerri after playing several weeks away in Aba.

Heartland vs Shooting Stars: Head-to-Head

In terms of matches between these two in the NPFL, it seems quite balanced with a win each in the last three matches and a draw.

The reverse fixture saw Heartland pick a shock point away to Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

3SC will be out to right whatever wrongs from that fixture when they take to the pitch later today, but it will be interesting to see how the Naze boys fare against Gbenga Ogunbote’s confident and motivated Warriors.
