Rio Ferdinand has revealed the most underrated Arsenal star ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has publicly insisted that Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard does not receive the recognition he deserves from the club’s supporters.
Ferdinand's comments were made after Arsenal’s commanding 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend, a match where Trossard scored the opening goal before Eberechi Eze registered a hat-trick.

Ferdinand then highlighted the player's phenomenal statistical impact since his arrival.
“His goal contributions since he signed, only Saka has got more. [It’s also the] important goals he scores, whether it is an equaliser, a late winner, it’s been a joke.”
The 30-year-old Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023, has registered 33 goals and provided 28 assists across 139 games for Mikel Arteta’s side, underlining Ferdinand’s assertion of his importance.
Arteta will be hoping his in-form winger will be on the scoresheet again as the Gunners welcom Bayern Munich to the Emirates Stadium for a blockbuster UEFA Champions League showdown at the Emirates.
