Three clubs are reportedly interested in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, a former midfielder for Liverpool who left the Reds this summer.

After six years with the club, the 29-year-old left Anfield at the end of his contract. During his professional career, he also spent time with Southampton and Arsenal.

Before leaving Liverpool, the English forward struggled to make it into Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup and was hammered by several injuries.

With Oxlade-Chamberlain being a free agent, three teams are vying for his services for the upcoming campaign. He has 35 England caps, the last of which came in 2019.

Chamberlain transfer options

According to The Mirror, Besiktas in Turkey, Premier League team Brentford, and an unidentified Saudi Pro League club are all interested in signing Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Thomas Frank's Brentford has identified the Englishman as a good player for his team and could offer him a one-year contract to stay in England.

Besiktas, who finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season, ten points behind leaders Galatasaray, is attempting to entice the former England midfielder to the league by making him their highest-paid player.

In the meantime, practically every player available on the open market in the previous year has had a chance to play in the Saudi Pro League.

N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, and Edouard Mendy are just a few of the athletes who have already left English clubs for the Middle East.

According to Daily Mail, the 29-year-old is analysing his options before deciding on the next phase of his career.

Oxlade-Chamberlain left Liverpool along with James Milner, Roberto Firmino, and Naby Keita as Jurgen Klopp's team underwent a makeover in the wake of their disappointing fifth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
