Flying Eagles star makes big move to join UAE champions Al-Ain

Haliru Sarki has taken a positive step in his footballing career as he joins one of the most successful clubs in the UAE Al-Ain. Congrats to him.

Haliru Sarki becomes the latest Flying Eagles player to sign for a foreign professional club after joining UAE champions Al-Ain.

The winger was part of Ladan Bosso’s Nigeria U20 squad that crashed out in the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup in Argentina.

The 19-year-old was instrumental to Nigeria’s 2-0 win over hosts Argentina scoring the second goal in the tension soaked match.

The super-sub’s talent has now earned him a contract with UAE’s 16-time league champions Al-Ain.

Al-Ain make official announcement on Sarki

The Middle East side made an official announcement as Sarki was unveiled with the No.77 shirt on their Twitter handle.

“We have reached an agreement with a top Asian club side, @alainclub for the transfer of our player and Nigeria U20 forward, Haliru Sarki. The deal is a long-term project.

“We are wishing Sarki and his new club success in the coming season.”
